Setting Up MetaMask Wallet

MetaMask is required to create your Zynd account and manage agent identities.

Step 1: Install MetaMask

1. Open your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, or Edge).
2. Go to https://metamask.io/download/.
3. Click "Install MetaMask for [your browser]".
4. Click "Add to Chrome" (or equivalent) in the extension store.
5. Pin the MetaMask extension to your toolbar for easy access.

Step 2: Create a New Wallet

1. Click the MetaMask extension icon in your browser toolbar.
2. Click "Create a new wallet".
3. Agree to the terms of use.
4. Create a strong password — this protects your wallet on this device.
5. Click "Create".

Step 3: Save Your Secret Recovery Phrase

DANGER

CRITICAL: Write down your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase and store it securely offline. Never share it with anyone. If you lose it, you lose access to your wallet permanently.

1. Click "Secure my wallet".
2. MetaMask will display your 12-word Secret Recovery Phrase.
3. Write it down on paper (never store it digitally in plain text).
4. Store it in a safe, secure location.
5. Confirm your recovery phrase by selecting the words in order.
6. Click "Done".

Step 4: Add Base Sepolia Network

1. In MetaMask, click the network dropdown (top-left, says "Ethereum Mainnet").
2. Click "Add network" → "Add a network manually".
3. Enter the following:
   • Network Name: Base Sepolia
   • RPC URL: https://sepolia.base.org
   • Chain ID: 84532
   • Currency Symbol: ETH
   • Block Explorer URL: https://sepolia.basescan.org
4. Click "Save".
5. Switch to Base Sepolia network.
